Is an early resolution with.a.prosecutor.my.best chance at lowering my.speeding ticket?

Hello i have.my.g 2 and recently got my.first offence traffic ticket. That.being.said i.got a fourvdemerit poimt ticket at ninety km in a fifty zone...i heard that.my best option is to talk to the prosecutor expresssing my remorse and my financial situation with.insurance as i am supposed to commute to school first year.. im hoping they will understand this as ive heard many others that have had there tickets reduced by these means
