INFECTION IN GUM AFTER WISDOM TEETH???? HELP?

its about 3 weeks after surgery and 3 days ago i woke up with a swollen cheek. today it popped and puss was going into my mouth., can i die people say u can but just after 3 days will i still be alright or do i need to go in. im squeezing it all as much as i can and swishing peroxide and warm salt water. advice and answers would be helpful
