Final fantasy 3 saving?

Open the menu on the world map and select save? Ive havent played ff 3 on iphone but I do have 1 so Im assuming the method of saving is the same. You can only save on the world map though, its impossible to do that in towns or dungeons. Oh, and you should avoid the sea dragon and run if he attacks you, instead head for the ocean shrine (above you think?). Good luck, that game can get prettey tough ;)
